What is Handmade?
Amazon Handmade is an artisan-only community on Amazon where artists and crafters can sell their unique, one-of-a-kind products to customers around the world. Everything sold on Handmade must be handmade, hand-altered, or hand-assembled; no mass-produced products are allowed to be sold on the marketplace.
It's not as easy as just signing yourself up, and then adding products on the same day, and it could even take a few weeks for the process. Your products must also fit into one of their listing categories, so not everything is allowed yet.
You can apply to sell Handmade products via your Amazon Professional Seller Account and once approved to sell, you can begin listing your Handmade products in the Amazon handmade Store.
What you CAN do via Marketplace Connect:
Provided your products are already listed in Amazon Seller Central - You’ll be able to publish your product via our OFFER SYNC only
What you CAN NOT do via Marketplace Connect:
You are not able to publish LISTING DETAILS or create new ASINs for handmade products. Amazon does not allow access to these category IDs via API, in order to more tightly control listing quality within the Handmade Store.
If you are on this page, see this notification and you are selling Handmade products DO NOT save. This will remove your Amazon Seller Central information and will not list on Amazon.
