Before you start selling on Amazon you will need to register as a seller. Getting started is easy. All you need to do is visit the Seller Central link for the Amazon site where you want to sell and register an account (see below).
Professional versus Individual Seller Account
In markets where you have a choice between setting up a Professional or Individual seller account, you need to choose Professional. The Individual account does not support Amazon MWS (Marketplace Web Service), which Marketplace Connect uses to manage the integration.
Amazon Sites
If you wish to sell on multiple Amazon marketplaces globally, you can do so with Marketplace Connect directly from Shopify's all-in-one app.
