Connect Your First Marketplace
If you have not yet connected an Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or Etsy account, this will be your first step required to start selling on the marketplace through Marketplace Connect.
To get started, simply select the marketplace you wish to connect from the Home/Marketplaces screen and follow the prompts to associate your marketplace account.
Before you can start listing your products for sale on Amazon, you will need to map your product identifiers from your catalog to enable Marketplace Connect to match against Amazon's catalog or to create brand new listings (ASINs). This can be done from attribute mapping mode, or from the marketplace defaults menu
The next step depends on what kind of products you are selling on Amazon. There are two options:
- Offer: Selling existing products already on Amazon - your product will need to be linked with an existing ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) i.e. an existing Amazon listing.
- Required Data: GTIN, Price, inventory, condition plus notes, no of items, item package quantity, shipping
- Listing: Selling your own unique branded product or a product new to the Amazon marketplace - you will need to create a new ASIN i.e. an entirely new listing in Amazon's catalog.
- Required Data: (in addition to offer data): Price, Inventory, Category, Product Identifier, Image(s), Title, Description, condition plus notes, no of items, item package quantity, Brand, Manufacturer, MPN.
Listing Products
Once you have connected your Amazon account, you can edit the marketplace values settings using any of the three listing modes in the Listings View.
Once you have confirmed your marketplace settings, simply enable and publish your products to set them live for sale on Amazon.
